Formed in mid-2023, Caged Affair is an indie alt-rock band out of Asheville NC led by Tyler Kemmerling, a dynamic vocalist and guitarist who writes, records and produces the band’s genre-bending music.

Behind the kit on stage is TK1, a drummer who readily holds down the band’s groove while creatively enhancing their grunge-punk sound with unexpected accents and unique polyrhythms.

In addition to their new “Grass Fed” EP, the band has released five singles, with the most recent being the pop-punkish melodic soliloquy “Never Forgot Forevr” (March 2024).   Caged Affair has played dozens of shows across the Southeastern US since mid-2023.  For 2024, shows are booked across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US.
